What together we can do for Technology
Since it’s not about technology, but about humans, we should pay more attention to the following statement: The unique effects of digital marketing is not driven by technology itself, but first and foremost a result of digital technologies seamless integration withing our every day life.
It’s much more about understanding the human perspective and situation when, where and how we reach people rather the newest technological innovations.

Understanding what marketing becomes when it is driven by customer motivation, not company motivation.
In the slightly altered words of John F. Kennedy’s inaugural address this could ring something like:
- “… ask not what Technology will do for you, but what together we can do for Technology.”
By the way, loving the “together we” herd insights here :o).

Well said, Helge.
And Darwin would have said: “It is not the strongest of technologies that survive, nor the most intelligent, but the ones most responsive to change and adaptation.” or so.

Hi Ralph, nicely added. I think Darwin should have added “human” to the last part as well :o)
“It is not the strongest of technologies that survive, nor the most intelligent, but the ones most responsive to HUMAN change and adaptation.”
Thx for contributing.

Yep, even better.
We should keep that in mind as our adaptation of Darwin.
Thinking about it … would also sound great with ‘communication’ instead of technology …
